Title: Applicator/ Agronomy Sales Consultant 

 


Purpose:

Apply fertilizer and crop protection products as part of our application team.  Develop and execute agronomy plans for growers consisting of crop scouting, fertility recommendations and seed sales.

 

Responsibilities:

Assist our application team by operating liquid and/or dry equipment.  Complete assigned application jobs accurately and timely.  Record proper records of the completed job.  Maintain application equipment for proper use.  Assist with customer field scouting, reporting crop progress and planned applications to select growers.  Administer field analysis including leaf tissue testing, soil sampling, and soil mapping. Consult with growers on the sale of seed and service those acres with follow-up farm visits.

Able to work well independently and self-motivated

Respond positively to a flexible schedule

Have the desire to stay current on new products and practices

Willing to work long hours when needed

Compensation:

Salary based on experience

Opportunity of additional income with seed sales commission
